BBC SPORT | Football | Premiership | Table

For me, the current premiership table is a beautiful thing. (well done Citeh - great result for them yesterday) However, yesterday's win (no. 49) makes me think forward to next weekend's clash with the Plastic Mancs. Ferguson's started the build-up predictably enough - it won't make a lot of difference, reports I've heard are that Arsene tends to find his attempted wind-ups a bit pathetic and quite funny.

The fact is though that they will be going all out to stop our run, and our 50th straight game without a defeat. ManU will raise their game and they do have Rooney in their side, who holds an indian sign over us having stopped our last record breaking run a couple of years ago.

I'm happy to admit that I'm nervous but also a little excited, I think I'll be sitting with my hands over my eyes if I can bear to watch at all! I'll happily take a point from that match.

In the meantime, it's off to Athens for the team against Panithanikos - fingers crossed that we avoid any injuries. Best of luck to the lads...
