So end of the dream last night...

...but to put things into perspective - it's football - if it was all plain sailing it'd be boring! We were lethargic, over-intricate and lacked killer instinct - Chelsea just seemed to have a bit more oomph (for want of a better word.)

Also - think about all the poor sods who either:

*Live in Iraq, Burma or Zimbabwe
*Are the families of the people killed in Madrid last month
*Are Wimblegone fans

My point is - things could be a lot worse. We still have a wonderful team who play amazing football - we've just been knocked out of dreamland and into the real world...

I was a bit disapponted about the football yesterday - but then we won the cricket, so I felt much better. Always silver linings around clouds - good to remember that... :)

I had my Red Letter Day, bought for me by a lot of very generous people when I left my last job, last summer. I went to Trackside Studios in deepest Essex and wicked time during my 3 hours session, attempting not to murder Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful". I think it survived (just)! It was really interesting - apparently the average professional single takes 2.5 days to get the lead vocals right - I had about 2.5 hours, so I was pretty chuffed with the result, especially as we started at 9am today after a 6.30 rise (on a Sunday Morning - ugh).
